| HEALTH CARE PROVIDER SECTION |
This section of our website is dedicated to providing other health care providers (Medical Doctors, Dentists, Physiotherapists, Massage Therapists, Athletic Therapists, Midwives, etc.) with service information regarding our centre and chiropractic in general.
In working with many local health care providers over the last several years, we have realized that there is a need in Wilmot Township and surrounding area for a contemporary chiropractic office that health care providers feel comfortable referring their patients to. Health care professionals working together put the needs and best interests of patients first. When it comes to the management of musculoskeletal conditions, we may not always have the same approach but we respect these differences.
PUTTING PATIENTS FIRST MEANS RESPECTING OTHER TREATMENT APPROACHES AND THEIR PROVIDERS.
Our practice style is best described as elective preventative, acute care, evidence-based chiropractic. We utilize a multi-faceted approach in addressing musculoskeletal conditions. This ensures that patients will always have a choice in the type of treatment they receive, balancing individual wishes and concerns with what is appropriate and therapeutically most beneficial for them. We measure the success of our treatment plans through quantifiable outcome-based measures such as orthopedic, palpatory, and neurological testing, Oswestry and neck disability indices, and visual analog scales. This allows us to objectively evaluate treatment efficacy and monitor improvement.
Our centre is committed in providing ethical treatment at all times. This means providing no more or no less treatment than is required to meet individual goals, and ensuring that treatment interventions first do no harm. If an individual's complaint is not a chiropractic case, we will make a referral to the appropriate health care discipline. We welcome open communication and encourage individuals to address any questions or concerns they may have.
Patients may choose to voluntarily engage in preventative and maintenance care. Whenever possible, we provide patients with the education and knowledge to help manage their structural complaints. We do have patients that require or request some form of regular ongoing care, but for the most part, patients may leave our centre knowing they can return at any time should relapse occur. We provide patients with our recommendations but empower them with the notion that ultimately their health is their responsibility.
OUR GOAL IS TO WORK WITH OTHER HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE.
